5. Booking and Deposits

5.1 Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed when we receive your written acceptance of our quote (email or signed document) and any required deposit.

For larger projects, we may require a deposit (typically 30-50% of the total cost) to secure materials and schedule work. Deposit amounts will be specified in your quote.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

6.1 Customer Cancellations

If you wish to cancel a booking:

  • More than 7 days before start date: Full refund of any deposit (minus material costs if already ordered)
  • Less than 7 days before start date: Deposit may be forfeited to cover scheduling and material costs
  • After work has started: Payment for work completed and materials supplied

6.2 Our Right to Cancel

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule work due to:

  • Adverse weather conditions
  • Unforeseen circumstances or emergencies
  • Site access issues
  • Health and safety concerns

In such cases, we will provide reasonable notice and reschedule at the earliest opportunity. Any deposit will be fully refunded if we cannot complete the work.

7. Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to:

  • Provide clear access to the work area and adequate parking for our vehicles
  • Ensure all necessary permissions are obtained (planning permission, neighbor consent, etc.)
  • Inform us of any underground utilities (gas, water, electric, etc.)
  • Remove or protect valuable items and plants in the work area
  • Ensure pets are secured during work
  • Provide access to water and electricity if required
  • Inform us of any specific requirements or concerns before work begins

8. Our Responsibilities

We commit to:

  • Provide professional, high-quality workmanship
  • Use quality materials from reputable suppliers
  • Complete work within agreed timescales (weather permitting)
  • Leave the site clean and tidy upon completion
  • Maintain appropriate insurance for all work undertaken
  • Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations
  • Provide aftercare advice and support

9. Warranties and Guarantees

9.1 Workmanship Guarantee

We guarantee the quality of our workmanship for a period of 12 months from the completion date. This covers defects arising from faulty installation but does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by misuse or neglect
  • Damage caused by third parties
  • Natural settlement or ground movement
  • Lack of proper maintenance

9.2 Material Warranties

Materials are covered by manufacturer warranties, which vary by product. We will provide details of relevant warranties upon request. Artificial grass typically carries a 5-10 year manufacturer warranty against UV degradation.

9.3 Making a Warranty Claim

To make a warranty claim, contact us with photos and a description of the issue. We will assess the claim and arrange remedial work if covered under warranty.

10. Limitations of Liability

  • Damage to underground services not identified by you or utility companies
  • Damage to existing structures beyond the work area

Our total liability under these Terms is limited to the total contract value for the specific project, except where prohibited by law.

Project photos may be used by AGPSN for marketing purposes unless you notify us otherwise.
